Since 2021, Mieke has been making gelato from home. Experimenting with flavours and recipes, she created a unique menu that appealed to a growing group of people. She gradually decided to focus more on her gelato business and eventually founded Róka in 2024.

Through experimental flavour pairings and creative takes on the classics, Róka Gelato aims to create a unique gelato experience for its customers — all with a focus on quality, craftsmanship, and a personal approach to each order.

Due to Mieke’s severe nut allergy, all gelato produced is completely nut-free. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any other concerns or specific requests related to allergies or intolerances!

Róka Gelato offers a variety of flavours, from creamy gelato to refreshing sorbet.The difference? Gelato is milk-based, while sorbet is water-based. Because of this, Róka’s sorbets are naturally vegan.

Don’t be afraid of sorbet — quality sorbet should be just as smooth and silky as milk-based gelato. No icy water crystals here — just fresh fruit and pure deliciousness.
